The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company believes in investing in long-term relationships with artists. We are creating a new model for a theater company that celebrates diversity and longevity in its collaborators. We believe that we create a richer artistic experience by building upon relationships among artists that develop over years, not just weeks, as is common in the contemporary professional theater model.
