The skills it takes to perform high-quality classical theater are many and the process of artists training is life-long. If we are to grow as a performing arts organization, we need to invest in our artists and our community of artists. That’s why the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company has created its Professional Artist Development Program. We provide workshops, lectures and seminars led by experts from across the country for free or at low cost to our members and, when possible, to the larger theater community.
