“We shall find peace. We shall hear the angels, we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.”

Anton Chekhov’s masterpiece of humor, hope, and loss: A dilapidated farm is transformed into a hotbed of disillusionment and unrequited love by the arrival of the landowner’s new trophy wife. This would be unbearably sad if it weren’t all so funny, with the spirit of a drunken Russian party that spills into the morning. Explore the nature of 19th-century comedy with us as we perform  Uncle Vanya in repertory with Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. Translation by Nathan Thomas, directed by Founding Artistic Director Ian Gallanar.
