SUNDAY, JULY 16: Salute to Veterans, Active Duty Members and First Responders. Tonight, we welcome veterans, active duty families, and first responders to enjoy discounts on tickets to this Family Fun Day performance of The Tempest. All ages welcome, with pre-show activities for kids including costume dress-up, storytelling, games and more. Bring your picnic. Get tickets for July 16. NOTE: For Blue Star tickets (active-duty member discount), please contact our Box Office by phone at 410-244-8570 (Tuesday-Friday between 11am and 2pm) or by email. Blue Star tickets are available for every performance, not just on Salute nights.
Mixolo. Go Solo. Join Mixolo, an activity group for solo adults, regardless of relationship status, to toast and savor Shakespeare-in-the-ruins. The group will start on Main Street with a tasting at The Wine Bin at 3:30pm, then take picnic-to-go meals provided by Georgia Grace Cafe to reserved tables in the park for the 6pm performance of The Tempest. SUNDAYS are FAMILY FUN DAYS: Gates open at 4:30pm, and child-friendly activities are provided in the park from 4:30pm- 6pm. Our performance of The Tempest begins at 6pm. Bring a picnic and join the CSC High School Corps for pre-show kids’ fun including costume dress-up, storytelling, and games. And don’t forget to look in the show program for the kids’ pages and puzzles, sponsored by media partner The Baltimore Sun Media Group. Our Family Fun Days media partner is Baltimore’s Child magazine.
Thanks to generous underwriters and media partners, children’s tickets will be FREE for The Tempest. Advance reservations are recommended, as these performances are expected to sell out. Limit: two free children’s tickets (for ages 18 and under) with each paid adult ticket. Our wonderful Free Shakespeare For Kids sponsors are BGE, M&T Bank, and Community Foundation for Howard County.
