She Stoops to Conquer, by Oliver Goldsmith:  Uproarious classic comedy about young love and the lies lovers tell.  Laugh-out-loud funny, it’s a British farce from 1773 that feels quite modern in its lighthearted look at courtship and family. On stage now through Sunday, October 21, 2018.

Henry IV, Parts I and II, by William Shakespeare, presented in repertory  A spellbinding exploration of the bonds between fathers, sons and mentors: Henry IV is the chronicle of Prince Hal, whose maturity and mettle are tested while he is torn between the carousing life of his friend, the rogue Falstaff, and the king.

Part I dates: February 15 -March 30, 2019

Part II dates: March 15 – April 7, 2019

Please notify the box office if you wish to participate in a signature theatre experience: a Shakespeare-lover’s “marathon” of Part I and Part II back to back in a single Saturday in March 2019.

The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, adapted by Wendy Kesselman.  This vital story asks us to remember a dark moment in world history through the eyes of a young girl.  This recent adaptation contains more of Anne Frank’s poignant and powerful writing than the original, making the play more essential than ever. April 26 – May 26, 2019.

Love’s Labour’s Lost, by William Shakespeare (outdoors at the PFI Historic Park, Ellicott City)  Filled with brilliant puns, this rollicking comedy finds the King of Navarre and three of his courtiers devoted to their studies, until the distractingly gorgeous Princess of France arrives on a diplomatic mission. Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine. June 28 – July 28, 2019.
