Much Ado About Nothing
By William Shakespeare
“Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps.”
If you think Romeo and Juliet were “a pair of star-cross’d lovers,” wait until you meet Beatrice and Benedick! These viper-tongued nemeses are made for one another. And everyone sees it…except them. It will take a village of meddlers, gossips, and fools to nudge these two toward the altar. Enjoy Shakespeare’s smart and sassy romantic comedy under the stars at the PFI Historic Park in Ellicott City. Bring a picnic!
UPDATE: In conjunction with Governor Hogan’s plans for Phase One reopening in the State of Maryland last week, the Howard County Recreation and Parks Department issued a decision to cancel weddings, events, and gatherings of over 50 people through July 1, 2020. And just like that, our summer dreams are dashed…
We held out hope as long as possible, but must now officially—and unfortunately—announce the cancellation of this summer’s production of Much Ado About Nothing at PFI Historic Park. We are heartbroken about not being able to perform outdoors in Ellicott City for the first time since 2003, our very first outdoor performance, but we’ll be back to share outdoor theater you as soon as it’s possible.
