Romeo and Juliet

Ambition. Murder. Witches. Madness. Shakespeare’s poetic and supernatural tragedy of midlife crisis fills the heart with horror. For this monumental play, we have engaged a nationally acclaimed director: Paul Mason Barnes is the founder of the Great River Shakespeare Festival. His credits include productions at Utah Shakespeare Festival (where he has directed 13 productions), The Guthrie Theater, The Old Globe, Alabama Shakespeare, California Shakespeare Festival, The Folger, and many more. We are thrilled to welcome him to Chesapeake Shakespeare Company.

PLEASE NOTE:  Shuttle service will not be available for this performance.  Free parking is available at the Howard County Courthouse Lot on Sarah’s Lane.
