MEET THE ACTORS – Join us preshow tonight for a casual conversation with the cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Bring your picnic, your wine, and your questions — ask us anything! How do we build our outdoor plays? Why are we singing songs in Ancient Greek? How do our actors prepare for their roles and for careers in theatre? What was Shakespeare thinking when he wrote this play? It’s your turn!
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
By William Shakespeare
On the eve of a royal wedding, a quartet of lovers and a motley group of amateur actors visit a fairy-filled forest. When the worlds of mortals and fairies intersect, expect mischief. Bring a picnic and share an enchanting night of romantic comedy under the stars in the PFI Historic Park, Ellicott City, our festival-style summer theatre home.
Thanks to generous underwriters BGE and M&T Bank, and media partner Baltimore Sun Media Group, children’s tickets will be FREE for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Advance reservations are recommended, as these performances are expected to sell out. Limit: two free children’s tickets (for ages 18 and under) with each paid adult ticket.
