Henry IV, Part One, 7:30pm
By William Shakespeare
February 15 – March 30, 2019

Falstaff:  Banish plump Jack, and banish all the world.
Prince: I do; I will.
After he takes the throne from Richard II, Henry IV’s reign is bedeviled by rebellion, political intrigue, and the antics of his heir. Young Prince Hal forsakes the burdens of royalty to carouse with rogues and fools led by his mentor and friend, the riotous Jack Falstaff. Hal’s maturity and mettle soon will be tested. To secure his own future, he must face his cousin, Henry Hotspur, at the pivotal Battle at Shrewsbury.

Don’t miss PART TWO!
March 15 – April 7, 2019
Together, Henry IV Part One and Part Two tell the spellbinding chronicle of the roguish Prince Hal, who is pulled between the magnetic, funny, and dissolute Falstaff and his dutiful and despondent father, King Henry. These brilliant plays are a bounty of drama and comedy for any Shakespeare-lover. We’re presenting them in rep in our subscriber series. Click here for Henry IV, Part Two details.
