Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Theater
7 S. Calvert Street (at Redwood Street)
Baltimore, MD 21202
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Michael Tolaydo
Ripped from the pages of Roman history and set in the modern age, Shakespeare’s political thriller is a riveting exploration of essential, timeless questions of leadership. When an elected leader is no longer trusted, where is the line between patriotism and personal ambition? Brutus weighs a role in an assassination conspiracy that will test his honor and loyalty. With its muscular language and bold intrigues, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar remains one of Shakespeare’s most-quoted dramas.
