Shakespeare’s magnificent final play of storm and shipwreck, mystery and magic, and profound redemption is perfect for a summer’s eve in the PFI Historic Park. “We are such stuff as dreams are made on.”
The gates open at 4:30pm for picnicking.
EVENT: A Taste of EC, 4:30pm. Join us in supporting Historic Main Street’s recovery. Snacks and other items from Ellicott City merchants will be on sale under the tent, while supplies last, during our pre-show hours. Almost a year has passed since the flood that devastated Main Street and many merchants have rebuilt: Let’s support them. Look for the up-to-date map of Historic Main Street ‘s recovered and new businesses inside The Tempest show program. Consider making your trip to The Tempest a day excursion: Shop, dine, or stroll on Main Street before you come up to the park. And don’t forget, this is a Sunday, so it’s a Family Fun Day performance with gates open at 4:30pm for picnics and pre-show activities for kids. The Tempest begins at 6pm.
Thanks to generous underwriters and media partners, children’s tickets will be FREE for The Tempest. Advance reservations are recommended, as these performances are expected to sell out. Limit: two free children’s tickets (for ages 18 and under) with each paid adult ticket.
