The voice of Langston Hughes comes alive in this immersive stage adaptation. Director and adapter Gerrad Alex Taylor blends movement, music, and verse to paint a rhythmic portrait of the Harlem Renaissance. A university–professional collaboration between UMBC Theatre and Chesapeake Shakespeare Company performed by students, professionals, and members of CSC’s Black Classical Acting Ensemble.
