Our audience

We attract a total audience of over 32,000 theatre patrons and program participants annually. 31% of subscribers and single ticket buyers live in Baltimore City, 24% in Baltimore City, 21% in Howard County, with the remainder from across the surrounding region

Our typical patron is a well-educated, active participant in the cultural and economic life of our community.

Our students

We serve nearly 17,000 students annually, with a focus on building the next generation of theatre patrons and artists. In our most recent completed season pre-COVID, student matinee sponsorships made it possible for over 1,800 students from schools with limited resources to see Romeo and Juliet or Macbeth for free. In all, we welcomed students from 118 schools (including 22 Title I schools) from 13 Maryland counties and three surrounding states. Our teaching artists also provided 113 days of in-school programming at 19 schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery Counties.

For individual students, our growing program of after-school classes and summer camps at the Studio now includes over 20 different sessions for young people from kindergarten through high school. Sponsorships help to support these as well as internships and apprenticeships for early career professionals.

For Veterans

Our Olive Branch and Laurel Crown program has been built especially with the Veterans’ experience in mind. (insert more once Vet content has been added to the document. We have sponsorship opportunities available to support Veterans' programming ranging from $2,500 up to $10,000.
